Have you ever dreamed of discovering France from the cockpit of your gyroplane, without having to worry about organisation, reservations, language barriers, or the particularities of flying in a foreign country ?
The French association Commun'Vol offers British
and other English-speaking pilots a unique opportunity :
to take part in gyroplane rallies across some
of the most beautiful regions of France,
in a friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic atmosphere.
For the past two years, Commun'Vol members have been organising aerial tours that showcase the exceptional richness of France's heritage, its diverse landscapes, its history, its culture and, of course, its world-renowned gastronomy. Each rally is designed as a genuine flying adventure, combining the pleasure of flight with the joy of discovery.
The itineraries are carefully planned to introduce participants to iconic regions such as Normandy, Brittany, Burgundy, Alsace, Provence, the Alps, the Loire Valley, and both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines. Along the way, pilots fly over magnificent castles, vineyards, mountain ranges, historic towns and villages, and some of the most remarkable landscapes in Europe.
To ensure a first-class experience, Commun'Vol selects four-star hotels offering comfort, warm hospitality and services tailored to travellers. After each day's flying, participants gather around excellent tables to discover regional specialities, local produce and some of France's finest wines. These convivial moments are an essential part of the rally spirit and help forge lasting friendships between pilots from different backgrounds.
The organisation takes care of every aspect of the journey's logistics, including route planning, hotel reservations, meal arrangements, daily briefings and overall coordination. Participants are therefore free to focus entirely on enjoying their adventure. A dedicated support vehicle transports luggage and provides SP98 fuel resupply throughout the tour.
For English-speaking pilots, Commun'Vol also offers valuable assistance with all practical aspects of flying in France. Members of the association help participants prepare their navigation flights and understand the specific features of French airspace and local operating procedures.
Dedicated support is available for radio communications, contacts with Flight Information Services (SIV), aerodrome arrivals and departures, circuit procedures, as well as any administrative formalities that may arise. This assistance allows visiting pilots to fly with confidence while becoming familiar with the practices and traditions of French general aviation.French-speaking pilots will be with you throughout every stage of the flight.
Beyond being simply an aerial tour, a Commun'Vol rally is above all a human adventure founded on mutual support, good humour and a shared passion for gyroplanes. Whether you are an experienced touring pilot or considering your first airborne exploration of France, you will find a warm welcome and a well-proven organisation within Commun'Vol.
Join us and discover France from a different perspective : from the sky, among friends, through memorable gastronomic stopovers, exceptional scenery and the encounters that make every great journey unforgettable !
